OK, you just received in the snail mail a formal invitation to join a business acquaintance for a round of business golf at a very, very private exclusive golf club known for its beauty and prestige.
There are a number of topics you can use as your On Course conversation. I suggest you use several of them and make the day filled with interesting talk around golf or related subjects. Just stay away from the Killer subjects that many feel logically is what is suppose to be talked about and that is business.
Why country clubs feel that lowering the initiation and membership fees to the younger generation will help improve revenue is a complete mystery. If someone 35 year old is not able to afford a country club members what makes the club feel they will be able to afford it when they turn 36 years old.
This season..Tiger is back and he is in shape, stronger, more of a family man, and is playing Tiger Level of golf. So, there is a lot to talk about.
Business Golfers who are not online will have to get online soon if they are to survive. And I can agree, learning what is real and not out here in cyberspace can be daunting.
