Merry Christmas to all my fans who have been following me over the years and to the members of the Business Golf Country Club. Here it is, Christmas Eve, and I am still in front of this terminal dishing out information I hope everyone is using. Hey, when you like what you do what is wrong with helping everyday of the year.
During these holiday seasons is traditionally when everyone takes time off to reflect on what it is they are doing on the planet. This includes me.
Each day I ask myself…
What the heck can I do today to make today better for me and everyone around me?
That single question has lead me off into many directions leading me right back here where I compile and compose my thoughts on what I have found that really helps…or what I have found that is keeping me from helping. Either way, it is all part of the process of breaking down information so it can be used for something more than a bitch session.
But back to the reflection part of this season.
As you are aware my pet project is Business Golf. To many who stop by to visit with me or read this blog those two word put together in that order blows their minds in trying to figure out exactly what does that mean.
To say there is a misunderstanding by most people of what Business Golf exactly is would be a gross understatement. So I spend most of my time, if not all of my time, straightening people..golfers and non-golfers alike..out on what exactly Business Golf means. On the most part once I give them true definition of what Business Golf is I get the obligatory…
OH, now I understand.
So, in reflection of this past year and how golf has floated to the bottom of most business people’s interest I and my business partner, Dave Bisbee, have decided that it is time for us to…
Put Business Back on Course…
..the golf course that is.
We have adopted this Tagline as the new rally cry we will use for the redirection of the Business Golf Country Club mission. In the new BGCC site scheduled to be launched on January 1, 2010, we will turn the focus to all things that touch Business Golf…and if you are one of the few people still not understanding what Business Golf is it will become very clear if you join ‘The Club’.
Reflecting on all the conversations I have with hundreds of business golfers (and a few misguided individuals who feel they know all about it, but don’t) I am excited with what we will be offering business people in the upcoming new year with the launch of the New BGCC.
If there was ever a gift I could give to each of the people I have made an acquaintances with this year the BGCC would be it.
So, with today being the eve of great celebration, let me again wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and safe enjoyable day with those you love. See you on the other side of Christmas to fill you in on what else makes me feel grateful.
