Awhile back, nearly two years to be exact, I started a weekly blog session called the “Quick Nine”. It was a quick report on what is going on around the golf industry and business world that is of Real interest. This blog eventually became a Vlog I produced which evolved into the ClamBake Cafe (by the way will also be coming back online soon)
However, when IBGS made the change to add more mainstream business features to its menu of services, the Quick Nine blog and Vlog was placed on a shelf for a time when it better fit IBGS’s needs.
Well, the time to bring Quick Nine back online is Now.
With the poor shape the golf economy is in and all of the anticipated changes expect in the business environment as a result of dealing with a recession, touching on the good and bad of the golf and business arenas that surround the world’s economy is needed now more than ever.
Naturally, the New Quick Nine will have a few new features from the old QN. I will have a guest or two chime in from time to time to report on their point of view on how they see things and offer another look at how things are changing in different niches of the economy.
I will be reaching deep inside the Business Golf Country Club to offer its members an opportunity to report what they see and to give them a little recognition on what they do to feed their family.
I will bring in a a frontline PGA and LPGA professional from time to time to interview them on what their views are in golf and business.
I will be partnering up with some of the icons of the golf blogging world to let them have yet another platform for them to rant on about what they are seeing going on in golf and business.
And, of course, there will be advertising and sponsorship opportunities for those businesses wanting to jump on board of this revision of a solid revitalized new program.
The plan for now is to post the Quick Nine Blog and Vlogs here on my blog site and the ClamBake Cafe site until IBGS decides where the Quick Nine fits best in its new push into the golf social media arena.
So, until then.. would you like to play a Quick Nine with me?
