OK, we just about have lived through the skinny jeans era that was fabricated to accommodate the alleged millions of dudes who wanted to appear to have thin legs. The question I have for the fashion industry, and the people who fit in a pair of tight-fitting jeans, is… Is looking ill the current fashion?
Now, we have this onslaught of people, mostly under 35, who feel having their knees hanging out of a torn hole in their jeans is acceptable attire for high-end restaurant dining. Is it?
I don’t think so, but thinking back, I had a pair of bell-bottom jeans when I was 17 that I thought was a fashion…and were not.
Construction Crew Look is IN!!
But, Really… worn-out jeans for high fashion? Not getting it.
We had a guy come into the studio appearing to look like he just left a construction site where he laid concrete all day. And he was in his mid-40’s. He was the owner of a mainstream service business and was on his way to a casual dinner at one of the top restaurants in Dallas.
I’m really not getting this. And, I’ll just leave it at that…
Let me know how I can help.
