Is Your Business Operations Ready for Video Marketing?

Is your business ready for video marketing?

Better to be Prepared than Be Sorry

All of these are questions you need to ask yourself.

Most businesses take for granted the change video marketing can make to their operations. Most don’t trust the reports showing that over 90% of the decision-makers of a business will search for a video of a product or service before making a final decision on purchasing or signing a service contract.

That means nearly every business owner or operations director understands what videos do for a business.  

This also means that these businesses invest heavily in contracting video consulting so they can develop a strong video marketing strategy.  On top of that, they will invest in getting consulting on how to prepare their business operations to handle the increase in calls from consumers.

Fundamentals of Today’s Business Operations

Businesses need to have things ready like:

  • A well-designed website that deliveries the company message by video.
  • A YouTube Channel stocked full of Profile, Explainer, How To Do and FAQ Videos.
  • A LinkedIn Company page that also has their videos uploaded natively.
  • A Twitter account where the videos can be shared.
  • An Instagram account my work as well as Facebook.  It just depends on your audience, whee they are at and if your operation is ready to deal with a multitude of “Facebook Tire Kickers”.

Dotting I’s and Crossing T’s

Other things operationally should be ready, like

  • Having your service agreement updated so it does not have any outdated clauses or unneeded wording.
  • Simplifying your lead generation by creating landing pages to capture quickly all the basic information about a potential client’s company.
  • Training all personnel on the importance of having a consistent message on Social Media and to not mix personal posts with business.
  • Have all invoicing and fund transactions simplified

Just be ready.  A good operations director should know how to deal with preparing his operations for everything…because with a successful video marketing strategy…there is no telling what is going to happen. 

Be prepared.
