I am asked, nearly every day, to explain why Video Marketing is so important.

I have even shown people videos that explain why videos are important. Even after that, I am still asked…sometimes by the same person…why they should invest in video marketing?

What Else can I say? 

If your business is not investing a significant portion of your marketing budget on video marketing you are going to fall behind in competing in your market.

So why is it so hard for business owners and entrepreneur to grab hold of the need for them to deliver their message to their consumers in a better, more cost-effective, way?

Cost of videos seems to be the most given reason why business people push back from using videos.  When I ask those who repeatedly ask me about why video marketing is so essential to their digital marketing strategy usually the first thing they say is how high the cost is to produce videos.  

15 years ago these same business people were asking me why they needed a website and gave their reason as the high cost of website development was why they pushed back on getting a website.  Now, these same small businesses and entrepreneurs are not hesitating on spending $5K to $7k for a simple website. 

Back then, those businesses who did not hesitate to have a website built are further ahead of their competitors today and are dominating their market.  The same thing will happen for those businesses who embrace video marketing and treat the cost of video production as the cost of doing business.

Granted, quality video production is costly and from all projection will continue to be one of the more pricy items on the marketing budget.  However, what would be the cost to a business’ revenue horizons if they do not use video marketing?

Consumers Demand Videos

Consumers are demanding quality video productions.  Your marketing to your consumers comes down to…are you going to give them what they demand, or let them go to a competitor who sees the value in giving consumers what they want?
