Do you know anything about Affiliate Marketing?  Probably not.  Unless you are one of the 5.3 Billion people reportedly running an affiliate marketing program you probably never give it a thought…but maybe you should.

Now, there is nothing wrong with getting involved with affiliate marketing.  It is where I started back in 2005, the pre-Fakebook and Tweaker days. 

Unfortunately, I was one of the 86% of people who started down the path of what was called back then Internet Marketing and then quit after a year of hitting every pothole on the information highway.  

Fast forward 13 years… Affiliate Marketing is now something even B2B companies are searching for experts to manage for them.  The internet, for the past five years, has proven to be where over 60% of the world’s population, who has a connection to the internet, buys over $5 billion worth of products a year…expected to be well over $6 Billon by 2020.

So, why not get involved?

This year, I feel it was time I got back into Affiliate Marketing.  However, this time not only will I offer products and services I will also report on what I am finding that works and does not work in the Affiliate Marketing industry. 

I’ll be in touch with the trusted sources I have had for 15 years, like Rex Dixon (the name he goes by because his real name is respectfully hard to pronounce) who I have found to shoot it straight. 

From time to time, I’ll be shedding light on the world of Affiliate Marketing as I go through the process of doing it myself.

My mission is to find the answers and resolve the mysteries around Affiliate Marketing and document my journey through what is called the “Darkside” of the internet to expose the sides to the box we have to stay in to keep from turning into those lost soles who produce those 25 minute videos demonstrating how to pat yourself on the back without breaking your arm.
