If you have not gotten to what is considered “Mid-Life”, then let me tell you..you get there you will be looking back a lot at where you have been an what you have done.
One of the many things I did back in my younger days was work on my family’s farm that was located just a bit southwest of Pair, Texas. I remember many times when I was working the fields on a tractor counting the minutes until I could get in the truck to get back to Dallas to go out bar hopping. This little tune by Jon Pardi takes me back to those days and…actually…Jon looked a little like me when I was his age. Plus, I did from time to time wear my farm boots to the club….just because they were comfortable and..yes…they did have a little dirt on them.
Enjoy.
It was this crossover from living in the city and spending weekends and summers on the farm that pushed me into problem solving at an early age. This is why I look back at these times when I was frustrated at having to leave my friends in Dallas on the weekend while I helped my extended family make ends meet. Those long days on the tractor were how I built the patience I have today in my business coaching and consulting.
Let me know how I can help.
