I have been blogging since 2004. In 2007, I started blogging professionally on this site, scotduke.com. At one time I had well over 5000 blog posts, until someone felt I was getting too influential. Yes, I have hit a large number of the potholes along this information highway and have delved deep into the the darkside of the internet finding a number of characters who feel they should control the world-wide-web. But, that is for another blog I’ll write someday.
For now, let’s look at blogging today and pro-blogging…in other words…
How does anyone make money blogging?
I have used a number of ways to promote my blog to attract businesses interested in being in front of my audience. Granted, for the savvy analytic type interneter it would appear my site does not get that much traffic…but for those who know me personally know I have another tier of audience I hold outside the probing eyes..or BOTs, used to find overly exaggerated user-based blogs sites. Nonetheless, I get my fair share of people who know me who hire me to blog about them. Would I like more..hell yeah!
For over a year now I have been using LinkVehicle as my professional blog efforts. Until someone I trust tells me there is a better source for agenting my blog as a professional blog site, So far, so good.
Now LinkVehicle.com has changed to ValuedVoice.com.
ValuedVoice appears to be a beefed up version of LinkVehicle but with a ‘Fee Based’ service they boast saying will increase the number of professional blog opportunities I will be offered.
From the Horse’s Mouth
“Valued Voice connects tastemakers to advertisers, agencies, and brands. Our influencers select sponsored content from hundreds of offers in over twenty verticals and share it on their websites, YouTube channels, and social media.”
What Others Say
“Sponsored content opportunities have been hot for mom blogs for years. ValuedVoice expands sponsored opportunities to bloggers in small business, social media, entrepreneur and other verticals.” GAIL GARDNER, GROW MAP
“I’ve been working with ValuedVoice for over five years now and it’s been a key part of my blogs financial success. As a writer, finding paid opportunities isn’t always easy and having a consistent income can be almost impossible. With ValuedVoice, I’ve always known I could count on ways to earn each month and the opportunities available constantly have been a big help. Everything is always clear from the beginning of the campaign/opportunity and I can always count on the staff to immediately answer any questions or concerns I have. From the sponsored posts and easy infographics, to the ads and social media marketing, I highly recommend ValuedVoice. I am confident working with ValuedVoice on any level it is a great opportunity for any brand, PR firm, blogger, writer, or advertiser.” RANDI POOLE, M.O.O.N. BLOGGER MEDIA GROUP
What I Say
Not too bad of pricing..that is if they do what they say they will do. Common sense would dictate if you are making enough from the amount of pro-blogs you currently receive from LinkVehicle to pay for the premium service then it would be worth signing up for a premium plan…if not, then maybe it is not of value.
How I will decide if I sign up for the premium plan will be determined by if this change LinkVehicle is making to ValuedVoice produces more pro-blogs for ME!!!. If it does then..BADA-BING…I’m going to get their Professional Account.
If you are wondering how to make money blogging, signing up for a service like ValuedVoice is the main way to do it…that is, if your blog is developed and constructed well enough to attract viewers. Once you got that done, then try ValuedVoice out…it has worked for me. I’m not getting Rich (yet), but it does make blogging totally worth it when a check hit’s you bank account.
Let me know how I can help.
No..this is not a Paid For Blog…it is Me telling you what I think!!!

So what’s the verdict, did going premium get you anymore opps from them? The last deal I got from them was back in March,. If paying $3/mo increases my changes of getting more jobs from them, I’m all about it. But curious to hear how you made out.

CJ, The verdict is I have not received a gig from LinkVehical since they made the change. What does that tell ya? Not really a fan of sites that see not value in what I do but expect me to see value in what they do.
CJ says
Well that sucks.. Guess I won’t be wasting my time (or money) with that then.
Thanks Scot!

CJ,
You are welcome. Hope you will check back. I’ll update you if someone from ValuedVoice contacts me.
