Dave Grohl heard about the studio that was in his neighborhood & suggested that NIRVANA record there. Pat Smear wasn't at the session. Krist & Dave arrived 2 days ahead of Kurt & recorded a mixture of jams & demos while waiting for him to show up. Once Kurt arrived, the one song that was completed at the session, "You Know You're Right," was put together quickly with Kurt doing the vocals in one take. It was released on the compilation album "NIRVANA" on 10/8/02. The song was only performed live once at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL on 10/23/93.
