From time to time I am asked about my internet radio station, Square Groove Radio, and when I am going to go live with it.  My answer has become pretty standard..when I find the sponsors who want to back what I want to do with the station.

What is it I see Square Groove Radio offer the internet?

Right now the station is on auto-play of my personal library of high quality music tracks.  The ‘sweepers’ you hear are produced by me and my friends Chris Kulturides and Lee Brewer.  

There is no money being made on the station..just a commercial free listen stream. What the station was built for was to use as a Live weekly Golf Talk show where I play some special classic rock tracks and is a place for me to host podcasts I make.  

I had thought of having other people’s podcasts in the stream on a regular schedule…and of course when that takes I would offer the advertisers an opportunity to get after it.

That is still the plan.  What it will take to make it happen are sponsors who are advertisers.  If that is you..I guess we need to talk.  But fair warning, I only want serious conversations on sponsors that make sense to me and the station format.

What Makes Sense?

SGR was created to talk Golf..Business Golf to be exact.  So a Golf product or service would be an awesome fit for a sponsor.  Another perfect fit would be a Music business or service…audio equipment, music store.  Places that serve Food would be good since there are millions surfing the internet looking for somethign about Food.  But I am holding the line on Cats…no Cat ads.
