Google is rolling out a new and better way for Hashtags to benefit everyone’s search efforts.
This launch opens up a new type of social universal for #hashtag queries – a new way to tap into social conversations from within Google search.
Here is how works!
From the Google Search Field, try posting a query like

#JustinTimberlake

#ObamaCare

#WaterfallWednesday

#AgentsOfSHIELD
When you search on Google for a hashtag, a set of fresh and relevant posts to the right of regular results. Clicking on these posts takes you to the full stream on Google+.
Google also included links into other social sites.
How it Benefits You?
Now that Google has added Hashtags to their search feature it has taken the silliness and irrelevance of placing Hashtags in your content stream.
Now Hashtags can be used as a tool to bring more awareness to the content being posted.
Is There A Down Side?
The question now will be, how will Google deal with the idiots who are now going to post nothing but Hashtags? Will there be a magic number of Hashtags that kills a post? One can only hope.
