There is not a day that goes by someone does not ask me… What is the big deal with Google+?

I have blogged on this before and the question still has me wondering why is it so hard for people understand the importance of Social Search?..which is what G+ has developed.

Leadership is a Big Deal

Maybe the news from Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman of Google, where in his new book he explains the importance of content posted on Google+ has on search results will further explain why people and businesses need to be active daily on Google+.  Unlike the other social spaces who are out to appease their hungry investors, Google really has a better plan for what the internet should be and how it can be used for both business and personal use.

The big deal about Google+ is it is a very powerful social tool, shopping center, marketing tool, leeds producer, advertising platform, entertainment center and virtual coffee shop all in one with a support staff that cares what goes on in this monster of a social network.

You Have to Use G+ to Get Anything Out of it

As I learn more and more each day about G+ I start to further understand what G+ offers everyone who uses G+ which gives credence to G+ being the one and only online social platform business executive tell me they want to be on.

Business Owners Only Want One

Yes, more and more businesses are not falling for the advice they get from most online social strategist that tell them they need to be in all social spaces.  Most businesses now have been everywhere online and received little or no results compared to what they have received from G+.  They found out quickly their results did not come directly from their interaction on G+, but from the Google Search engines of the content they post on G+.

Not only did they not see the need to be every in every social space they also saw it is a waste of funds to support being in a social space that produced less return than G+
