If you are in business you have more than likely have attended a business networking event.  Of course, any business networking gathering worth it’s salt will offer adult beverages of some sort.  The beverage of choice for most business networkers is Wine.  Even the staunch beer drinker, martini sipper or whiskey aficionado will indulge in glass of fine vino.

Sometimes business networking events need something to rally the attendee’s focus.  Wine tastings have been a great focal point.

Set Event Apart

If you Google business networking events you will count endless events for business networking and a good number of them include a wine tasting agenda.  To say the wine tasting format is smart event planning is a huge understatement since offering an agenda wrapping the beverage of the evening around a business networking get-together is perfect.

Wine is somewhat a universal beverage to enjoy while talking common interests.  There are those who prefer other beverages, including non-alcoholic, but still appreciate the talk that business networking functions offer.  I am sure there is a study somewhere produced showing how many business deals have b een made over a glass of wine.  I am sure it is close to the same number of businesses deals signed after a round of business golf…probably in the trillions.

So, if you are a business networking event planner don’t discount the value of having a wine tasting for your business networking event.  Good things happen over a glass of good wine.
