Dude! How Excited Can Someone Be?
I am excited to announce my involvement as Director of Social Media for Random Access Radio. Yes, I like music just as much as Golf.
As is the case with everything I and my company, Innovative Business Golf Solutions, take on as projects, it is the quality of the product being produced by Random Access Radio (RAR) that drew me to getting involved with this start up.
Founded by Chris Kulturide , Random Access Radio has gone beyond the traditional ‘Blah-Blah’ and ‘Yada-yada’ of internet produced music programs. What Chris has created was done so out of the love for quality music. His drive to share how music can REALLY be heard online now has developed into filling a vase void in the quality music broadcasted over the internet.
The popularity of online music has been around for a long time. There is not a moment that goes by that someone is not sharing a tune with me or the entire world. Having listened to music of all kinds my entire life and having sat in the studio for a few years learning how the music that goes onto a recording is put together, what I miss with listening to music online is the quality of sound. Chris is driven to produce for his listeners.
Why Random Access Radio?
I ran across Chris’s (or CK as he is known) project through his Virtual Executive Producer, Paul Swansen, who I have known for sometime now through the Business Golf Country Club. I caught hold of Paul’s efforts to draw attention to RAR through Twitter and went over to check it out. Being a cynic at heart I was expecting the ‘Same-ol-same-ol” 56k level of sound many internet programs produce. OHHHH, how I was wrong.
Off the Scale on the OMG Meter
The quality sound CK and Paul produced is nearly unheard of online. The music is being piped out across the bandwidth to the world at near (and in a few cases has reached) Studio Quality level of sound. My reaction when I tuned in for my first listen through my studio audio set up was..”Holy S##t”!
Now, I know most online music listeners have not really experienced how music is truly produced in the studio since most radio stations and even the CD that is produced is ‘Dumb Down’ to the lowest common denominator in technology the consumer is able to use. Nothing wrong with that..it was the way things had to be produced ‘back in the day’ since most people did not have the capability to listen to Studio Level quality music..so why produce it at that level?
Well, now, thanks to technology, faster broadband speeds and all that boring stuff that is out today, music can be heard just like the artist recorded it. This advancement in technology has allowed the music industry to go back to their original studio master recordings and reproduce the classics at the highest output level possible.
This means, Chris can put the tunes up for you to listen to on your computer at the highest level of quality produced. That is the theme for the Random Access Radio program which is why I agreed to get involved in helping get RAR out to the music lovers around the world.
Rock the World
RAR’s playlist runs true to the solid sound of the Rock genre of music. Tunes rang naturally from the Classic to sharp edge of Indie New Artist. Oh, and NO! There will probably not be any Lady GaGa played..but don’t be surprised with what you may hear on this weekly broadcast.
Random Access Radio airs Live each Tuesday evening from 9:15PM to 11:15PM EST…or longer as is the case with CK who gets on a roll and hates to stop. The RAR Live program and the recorded previous programs can be accessed through the Random Access Radio web site at www.randomaccessradio.com
