Back many years ago when I first came online one of my very first blogs was called..Does All This Really Matter. The blog is still out there somewhere on the free WordPress platform. I set it up as a diversion site for me to rant about things going online that really questions a person’s sanity on why they would want to get involved with stuff that is totally off the wall wrong. Since 99% of the stuff that goes on out here in La-La-Land has nothing to do with Golf the blog site gave me another platform to use to learn more about blogging.
I still ask myself this question nearly every time I log onto Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other sites. The frustrations are not as intense as they were years ago, but still enough for me to sit back and look for a good answer to this question. What keeps my sanity and from checking out of La-La-Land like millions of others have already done is that I found answers to other questions related to the value of the so called Social Networks.
I also over time have made a large number of GOOD solid friends from my years of prodding around the web. These good friends have provided me guidance around many of the potholes of the Information highway.
Unfortunately I have found even more untrustworthy souls who roam the back alleys of the internet working to promote their scam. And yes, I have fallen for many of them. Fortunately, I have become the wiser and now can sense when someone is not all with how business is really done online.
Between the spamming and scamming it forces me to keep asking this question and look for a quick resolution. The time I am spending wading through all the emails wanting me to check out a site or service that only an complete idiot would be interested in really pressures me to just quit.
Each time that time comes for me to answer this question with me quitting something comes up that turns my attention to the fact that there is still some hope for the internet.
Why aren’t others complaining?
Most of the solutions to the internet’s worthiness are initiated by spending money. What validates this solution is when someone is making more money than they are spending. Those who are making money or have businesses that cater clearly to the major interest of the people who come online are the business who do not see the problems of the internet that the ones without these funds to block problems are seeing. So why would they complain?…I wouldn’t complain either.
So, here I am again, asking myself if all this work I do to bring to everyone’s attention what I do and how I do it really all worth it? I guess I will again let time tell me or my growing number of good friends tell me if it is worth it. I am sure there are large numbers of people asking themselves this same question. More than likely I have the answer for them and they have the answer for me. But fair warning..I know for certain that the solution I see in me answering the question clearly for you involves someone other than me breaking open a checkbook. So, let me know how I can help.
