What Does the Business Golf Country Club Do?

Out here in La-La-Land finding Real People to communicate with or build a business association with is getting near impossible.  Break that down to also finding Real Golfers and the mission becomes more of a hunt than a search.

  • Golfer Only Environment

The Business Golf Country Club was formed to build a community for Real Golfers.  The business part of the name of the club has to do with being a consumer as much as being the supplier of products golfers need or want.  However, only a golfer knows what a golfer cares about so everyone who joins in this club as a consumer or a business person will play golf.

  • Business/Social Networking Club

What the BGCC does is multifaceted.  On the surface the club has all of the nuisances of a business/social networking group.  It houses online the members’ information on their golf interests, personal interest and business interests.  This is a natural part of the social/business networking.  However, the content provided and the interests stated are tested when someone joins the BGCC to keep the integrity of the information trustworthy.  This makes the information each member provides in their profiles the foundation of the club.

  • Business Development Built on Trust

The club then builds from the members to showcase their purpose or interest in golf to the world.  No, this does not open the door for a member or several members to SPAM the rest of the membership with their wears or business opportunities.  It is true that like in all thinks in life, the pursuit of happiness is the pursuit of making a living to pay for the pursuit of happiness.  However, the pursuit of doing business with the members of the club is done using sound and trustworthy principles that build solid business relationships. 

  • Use Business Golf Principles

The principles of Business Golf are based on a business person and a consumer getting to know each other better in an effort to  build a business relationship.  Not many business people today understand this principle because it was not taught to them when they got into business.  The BGCC will be developing programs and offer services that show people how to improve business instead of putting it at risk with over bearing marketing plans.

  • Members Promotions

The Business Golf Country Club actively develops ways to show more business people how business golf works.  It does this by featuring members on the ClamBake Cafe and offering the members an opportunity to blog their thoughts.  Open discussion of issues is also encouraged.  The person who does the business is the centerpiece of a business.  When you get to know the person you get to know the business.

  • No Spam, Scams or Schemes

The club’s mission is to provide the members with a safe place to gather without the fear of being scammed or spammed with unwanted or unsolicited information.

  • Help Golf Survive

If there is one thing that all golfers have to focus on is to help golf survive.  To do this golfers have to continue to play golf, produce golf tournaments, become members of a country club, purchase golf equipment and travel to places to play golf.  It is a given that all of this is can be expensive.  This is why the BGCC will be addressing things the golf industry can do to reduce costs and still offer quality golf.  The BGCC provides a very powerful voice to the industry from people who actually play golf and use golf as a business tool.  Without business golfers..there probably would not be Golf.

Where is the Club Going?

Eventually the BGCC will move to a more robust business/social networking platform.  The goal is offer the members the best online existence that is free from unnecessary limitations. Once that takes place a phase in of much grander approaches to promoting the membership’s interest will be made.  The BGCC will produce conferences, establish chapter clubs around the regions and develop more opportunities to bring the membership physically together.

  • More Focused Forums

The ClamBake Cafe tm will develop into an offline experience where the members gather with the general golfing public to attend educational workshops, product and service displays and summit type discussions on the future of golf/

  • Business Promotion Opportunity

The BGCC will be opening up space on the club’s web-site and at it’s sponsored functions for members to advertise their business.

  • Member ONLY Offers/Discounts

The members will be offered discounts and exclusive offers for products and services that really make a difference.
