I was chumming around with my long time friend and tech hound Rex Dixon this morning.  RD pinged me to check out this THING he ran into called delivr.com.  Naturally, if it comes from the head geek and maitre d’ of the Corner Booth at Denny’s in St Louis, I am going to check it out.

Yaw, I may be considered a ‘Real Old Fart’ in the geek circles, but age doesn’t hold me back in checking out the world of cool new stuff.  I do enjoy checking out the latest in technology especially if it does something worthwhile. 

I am with RD when it comes to ‘Show Me Something New’.  It really gets old seeing all of the iPhone apps and social networking widgets everywhere online.  It is refreshing to see a good old timey application that is quick to learn and to use.  With delivr.com, I now have another way to BTF out of my business golfers while they are on the golf course using their cellphones….hopefully it will get them to Turn The Phone OFF.
