Many companies today are dealing with challenges that are sometimes byproducts of the bad economy.  However, some of the challenges facing each business owner or executive everyday are brought on themselves.  Disgruntlement amongst a business’ workforce is usually generated directly from the business’ owners or executives bad decisions.  For companies depending on their workforce to survive the down turn in economy their first concern should be the morale of their employees.

There are a number of reasons why employees become disgruntle with their employer.  Poor Management usually leads the list of grievances employees have for their bosses.  In a blog written a few years ago, Kathryn E. Darden of Associate Content from Yahoo, wrote on the different Poor Management Types.  In her blog she listed the Bully, Micro-Manager, Nepotist, Sleaze, Harasser, Idiot and the Petty Sneak.  All of these types are still very much alive and causing productivity issues amongst the few employees business have kept working.
