For the past 10 weeks I have been working with Chris Kulturide of Digital K Productions and Host of Random Access Radio. Over this time we have been setting up the format and the platform of the Live Tuesday evening Listening Party that is gaining in popularity. Why? Well High Quality Rock tracks mixed with Social Media seems to be what more and more people are interested in listening to online.
How Does This Work?
We began the forming of today’s RAR Listening Party back in Episode #18. From #19 to #26 we formed processes making sense out of the tracks we played so transitions form one sound to another were smoothed out. In #20 we started bring in our own Bumps and Sweeps to add flavor to the party plus allowing CK and I to express out sense of humor. The Listening Party motto started in Episode #25 and carries on until today where the entire Live program is made for someone to ask a large crew over to party for a couple of hours.
Started to Boil
Starting with Episode #27 we added to the program announcements about TweetUps and MeetUps being held around the world. Over 8 minutes of the Live Show is dedicated to passing on to fans information about social and business gatherings of interest.
Episode #28 was again a powerhouse production of some of the very cutting edge of Rock music for the past ten years and crafting announcements of Social gatherings around the high quality music.. The Feature Artist was Puddle of Mudd which was a denominating force for the entire two hours of back to back solid tracks.
SURVEY SAYS
The post production survey sent out to the fans after Episode #28 shows the fans are listening to the Party for its quality clear music and the entertainment factor it provides for groups of people sitting around listening.
Social Media Rocks
We are continually looking for new angles to promote the listening party and new things to try out. The plan is once we have a following enough in one region to produce an RAR TweetUp. So, there is more to come.
